Related species[edit | edit source]

The genus includes cultivated fruit trees such as Annona cherimola, A. squamosa, A. muricata, and A. × atemoya. Wild species should not automatically be given the soil, hardiness, or fruit-quality requirements of those cultivated relatives. Annona is a genus of flowering plants in the family Annonaceae, order Magnoliales.
