Eugenia is a large genus of flowering plants in the family Myrtaceae. Its species are chiefly trees and shrubs of tropical and subtropical regions, especially the Americas, and many produce fleshy berries.

Eugenia is related to Syzygium within Myrtaceae. The two genera contain several fruits sold under overlapping common names, so scientific names are important when transferring cultivation information.
