== Cultivars and selections ==
The names Autumn, Stearns, Northneck, and Squibnocket are reported selections associated with beach plum. They should not be treated as a complete registry or as a ranking of fruit quality, because named plants can differ in propagation identity and current availability.[[#cite_note-2|[2]]]

''Nana'' is described as a dwarf, slow-growing form with smaller fruit. ''Flava'' is described as yellow-fruited with high-quality sweet fruit. These traits may be useful when choosing a compact plant or a yellow-fruited selection, but availability and identity can vary among nurseries.[[#cite_note-3|[3]]]
