== Propagation == Fresh seed can be sown either within the whole fruit or after cleaning. Germination is usually reported at about one to two months, but seed that is not fresh may germinate slowly and spasmodically. Firm current-season cuttings are also described as a propagation method. The available procedures do not establish a storage period, rooting percentage, or transplant timetable, so fresh sowing and careful observation are safer descriptions than a fixed seed-handling schedule. [[#cite_note-3|[3]]][[#cite_note-4|[4]]]
