== Propagation == Seed is the documented propagation route in the available species-specific procedure. One greenhouse seed-to-seed method uses overnight treatment at 4 Β°C, optional seed-coat nicking, a pre-moistened growing mix, sowing at 2β4 cm, a heat mat, and a cover. Emergence commonly takes 1β2 weeks, although some seed lots take another 2β4 weeks; the procedure explicitly allows for genotype-dependent delay.[[#cite_note-6|[6]]] The same procedure transplants seedlings at about 20β30 cm, then uses staking, pruning, assisted pollination, and mesh bags over fruit clusters for controlled seed saving. Cleaned seed is stored at room temperature in that procedure. These are working greenhouse conditions, not guaranteed requirements for every seed lot or outdoor site.[[#cite_note-6|[6]]]
