== Container growing ==
Rose apple is well suited to container culture.<sup id="cite_ref-7">[[#cite_note-7|[7]]]</sup> It has a naturally branched habit, can fruit in a pot, and can be maintained at 2 to 3 m with regular pruning. This makes it a practical choice for growers in marginal climates who need to move the plant under cover during winter.
