== Description == Yeheb is generally described as a 1.6β4 m shrub with deep and lateral roots, leathery glandular leaves, and yellow hermaphrodite flowers. The fruit is a pod about 4β6 cm long that opens at maturity to release its seeds.[[#cite_note-2|[2]]][[#cite_note-3|[3]]] The plant is associated with warm semi-desert and dry-shrubland environments, especially sandy or deep-loam soils.[[#cite_note-1|[1]]][[#cite_note-3|[3]]] Some reference accounts distinguish Somali forms called sulei or suley and mogollo or moqley, with differences in reported pod, seed, or sweetness traits. These names are best treated as regional forms or types rather than formal cultivars on the evidence presently documented.[[#cite_note-2|[2]]][[#cite_note-3|[3]]]
